Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training

Key Training Phase

Start with a Solid Foundation for Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training

Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training is a foundational step in shaping your dog’s behaviour and ensuring they become a well-mannered companion. The best time to start is during the socialisation phase between 6 and 16 weeks. However, we also offer training for older puppies up to 24 weeks.

Our approach ensures that even if socialisation was missed, your dog will still learn basic obedience skills. These skills include following commands, maintaining discipline, and understanding boundaries. This training is critical for both the dog’s safety and the owner’s peace of mind.

At Braveheart Bio-Dog Academy, we tailor our training to suit each dog’s unique needs, ensuring effective learning and long-lasting results. Our team is committed to providing top-notch training that sets the foundation for advanced skills and behaviour.

“Starting obedience training early sets the stage for a lifetime of good behaviour and mutual respect between you and your dog.”

John Greyvenstein

Starting at the foundation of Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training

Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training is like building a house: one should start at the foundation. The ideal situation is if the Dog-K9 Canine can be presented for socialization training between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks. It however happens quite often that people want Braveheart to socialize Dog-K9 Canines that are already older than the maximum of 16 weeks. In such cases, Braveheart concentrates on doing Basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training – this is only possible if the Dog-K9 Canine is less than 24 weeks old.

Basic Obedience Dog-K9 Canine Training takes approximately 4 weeks*.

You and your family’s coaching takes place when you fetch the Dog-K9 Canine after completion of its training, and takes approximately 1 hour. This comprises firstly theoretical training in our lecture room – to enable you to give scientifically sound instructions. We also answer any questions you may have.

Next, we give you practical training at our outdoor training facility to enable you to control your Dog-K9 Canine in real life situations, and to enable you to do everything with the Dog-K9 Canine that we have taught it. On completion, you will be able to do continuous training with your Dog-K9 Canine at home.
